Another Podcast!

I am obsessed with living a health life. I want to live my healthiest life. I want others to live their healthiest lives. I want to be an aid in others living their healthiest lives.

I'm out there in a dense sea. Podcasts swirl around vying for your attention through entertainment or education or some combination there of.

It's one of my favorite things. I love sitting down at my computer and engaging at a deep level, often with another human.

I am obsessed with living a health life. I want to live my healthiest life. I want others to live their healthiest lives. I want to be an aid others in living their healthiest lives.

I'm not quite sure if there are good obsessions, but I've come to a place of accepting my obsession as my calling.

Conversations have the potential to be transformative. What we take in shapes us. My desire is to put out goodness, beauty, and connection into the world.

To have energy, insights, and connections that helps others live a little easier.

To help the heavy things feel a little lighter and the dark things a little more bright and beautiful.

If you've ever listened to an episode. Thank you.

If you've ever told me what it means to you. Thank you.

If you've ever shared the podcast with a new listener. Thank you.

Each conversation held on The LYHL Podcast to date has made me better. I believe it holds that potential for you too!

Each episode explores 4 questions:

1. How would you describe your work and vocation?

2. What do you think it means to live your healthiest life?

3. What are you currently learning about living your healthiest life?

4. What is something you wish more people knew about living their healthiest life?

Because the topic is timeless, I think the episodes are too. If you've only listened to the more recent chats. I hope you’ll consider taking in the prior conversations and perspectives shared.

Here is a 1-minute tidbit from my conversation with author, writing coach, and friend, Rumi Tsuchihashi, last fall:

Our conversation repeatedly gave me pause as I contemplated the profundity and beautiful nuance of her words. When I edited the podcast, it took me longer than usual because I kept getting wrapped up in where she took my mind and heart such that I would lose track of my editing task! The link to The LYHL Podcast webpage is handy for you below in the footer, or you can find on your favorite podcast dispenser or watch our faces on YouTube.

Rumi is an illuminating presence and author to three “tiny” books. Her most recent, “I Want This For Us: The Tiny Moments That Give Marriage a Chance,” just came out and you can buy it here.

Questions for Contemplation:

  • Do you have any healthy obsessions? Is there such a thing?

  • Have you ever thought of hiring a coach? What would you hire a coach for?

  • How are you at noticing the tiny moments?

  • What are you favorite conversations?

May you always see the blessing, beloveds.

P.S. - Thanks for being here. I’d love to hear how you’re doing!

P.P.S - Happy Valentine’s Day, beloved!!

P.P.P.S. - I’m so excited to be playfully sharing on my new “Becoming Divergent” YouTube channel. I currently have zero subscribers because it’s so new! (Let’s change that!!!) I’ll being having fun letting my neurodivergent, queer self shine, unpacking my Evangelical Christian background and current spiritual re-integration, adventuring in nature, exploring authentic and community-minded egalitarian living. I just shared a video of my partner Jamie and I witnessing a massive double rainbow on a roadtrip this past fall. Love wins!
