Beloveds,

I firmly believe we all want to live our healthiest lives.

I firmly believe we want to be healthy and make healthy choices.

Why?

Because being healthy feels good, damn good! And who doesn't like feeling good?

We do so many things to try to feel good. Our life, in fact, centers around us feeling good.

So where's the rub?

The rub is cause and effect. If we stop to really consider, are our actions towards feeling good really leading us to feeling good long-term or are they avoidance and impatience, we will learn and either change course or double down on our behaviors.

This is where the emphasis towards healthy living can help us reframe our quest to feel good.

I like feeling good, so I drastically cut out dairy from my life - yes this WI human said farewell to cheese and ice cream.

It's why I exercise nearly daily and incorporate so many variants and modalities of movement.

It's why I prioritize sleep.

It's why I practice my breath, meditate, pray.

It's why I dance, sing, play guitar, and write.

It's why I search for beauty around me and seek to create it.

It's why I work to nourish and foster deep, loving, and meaningful relationships in all settings.

It’s why I do so many things!

It's why I created LYHL.

It's why there is a vision for community and growth - through writings, podcast, retreats, and coaching.

LYHL is a service of love to you, to me, and to the Divine in us and throughout the universe.

I'm so glad you're here.

Living our healthiest lives is a journey and it's worth it. It feels so damn good to live healthy.

What is healthy? That's what we explore in the LYHL community. Critical to this process is curiosity, openness, consistency, patience, and presence.

Learning from cause and effect. Cause and effect. Cause and effect.

We are powerful as individuals, but we are better together. This is why the we are creating a community to LYHL.

May you always see the blessing!

Questions for Contemplation:

  1. What are you learning about healthy living this month?

  2. Who are you companions in healthy living?

  3. Do you agree that our drive to feel good hinges on our relationship to healthy living?

  4. Do you believe that you can live a healthy life? What are your barriers?

Beloveds, may you always see the blessing.
